Ya tiempesito que no me comunicaba por este medio, pero fijo tenia que venir a saludar a mi gente antes que se termine el año. Quiero darle las nuevas noticias hacerca de los logros de este año y las nuevas metas que se acercan.

El evento mas importante e impactante de este año y en mi vida fue el nacimiento de mi hija. Les agradesco a todos mis amig@s que me an mandado sus saludos en esta etapa tan importante de mi vida, pues fue un regalazo de papa Dios mandarme mi hija preciosa. Anora a ponerle mas ganas a la situashion, un hijo lo deve inspirar a uno no bajar. ahh y a cambiar la historia, los niños no tienen que venir a pagar los platos rotos de uno.

La musica va firme y fuerte. El año pasado logre lanzar mi cuarto CD llamado "El MixtaEP" El lanzamiento fue un exito total, cheka el video de la noche.

Despues de este lanzamiento tambien comense las preparaciones para el show El Sonido De Esta Zona, un webcast que queria traer a vida en el cual expusieramos el talento del hip hop en español a nivel nacional e internacional. El show lo comensamos con ayuda de Dj Tech en Agosto de 2010, el cual a tenido muy buen recibimiento. Dj Skip se unio en la segunda temporada, y con Dj Bomber ahora somos 4 los que hacemos parte del crew de #ESDEZ (abreviacion). Este mes pasado terminamos la tercer temporada, y seguimos entrevistando y tocando artistas que estan saliendo de los barrios de todo el mundo. Gracias al show e podido conocer y entrevistar artistas como, Poeta, Dj Rap, Mystico y Corner System de Costa Rica, Spictacular, Sata Brown, Duendy, MRK de Canada, RYTM de Amsterdam. Prophet, Mad Bluntz, Surrealist, Frank John James, Team Classic, Dj Joelskee, Cale de illfeelin, Urban One, Da Author, RSL, Abusivo de Los Angeles. K.O. Selectah (Bacteria Sound System) Alter Ego, Poesia Callejera, T-li (Strate Crooked), Freddy B, de Guatemala. El show regresara al aire en Marzo de 2012, haci que si no lo an visto esten al tanto de las noticias para el comienzo de la cuarta temporada.

Gracias #ESDEZ me e podido conectar unas buenas colaboraciones con mc's como Mr Hoodz (MRK), Lovel, Poeta , Duendy, Spictacular, Bacteria Sound System, Prophet y muchos otros. Hemos podido colaborar en varias grabaciones recientemente. This Wednesday, one of Europe's pretties voices live @ El Sonido De Esta Zona.

She has Morocco in her blood, Paris in her heart and music in her soul. Ilhame (aptly meaning “Inspiration” in Arabic) always knew that music would be her constant muse. Born in the 17th District of Paris, Ilhame’s first musical experience was alongside her older sister, having innocent fun imitating famous musicians singing the songs of Soul, Funk and R&B stars such as Luther Vandross, Rose Royce and Bill Withers. In grade school Ilhame’s music teacher noticed her natural talent as a vocalist and encouraged her to pursue her love of music. Thus, it was merely by pure instinct that Ilhame followed her soul and followed music. Ilhame decided it was time to finance her own project and placed her career in her own hands and recorded an album. In 2005, Ilhame traveled to Los Angeles to record a major part of her album. This was an experience which furthered her desire to continue making music. As Ilhame states, “I live, eat and sleep music. This is what I want to do. This is what I love to do”. In addition to recording and spending most of her time in studios she has sold out shows at “Le Reservoir” and “La Scene” both concert venues in Paris. She’s opened shows for Erykah Badu at the “Nice Jazz Festival” and toured with “The Roots” as there opening act for four shows throughout France in 2007. She has also opened for Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson at "The Roxy" Los Angeles. She has also opened for “Dwele” and for “Van Hunt” at BB Kings Blues Club in Los Angeles. She's performed at various other venues and special events throughout France and in Los Angeles and New York.In addition to touring and recording two albums one in French and another in English she has also recorded a cover of Bob Marley’s “Waiting in Vain” featuring his son Ky-Mani Marley and loosely translating the lyrics into French and Arabic. She has recorded tracks with beats produced by Nicolay from "Foreign Exchange". She has most recently worked with “Shafiq Husayn” from “SA-RA Creative Partners” singing over tracks he produced and also was featured on his song "Le Star". Stereotype started in Los Angeles in 2008 when MCK (now known as Frank John James), Dupe (now known as Braiiinstorm), and Mas1 joined in an effort to make the kind of Hip Hop they loved. With beats, mixing, and recording provided by FJJ, they each provided raps that would make for a classic raw sound. FJJ and Braiiinstorm then released Rotten Apples as the Earthworms, while FJJ started the four-part Beats 101 series, Romanstrumentals Vol. 1, Now What? (his solo album), along with the 3 volume MCK EPs. They are currently working on multiple solo and group projects, to be released through the first half of 2012.

T-Li From Strate Crooked
Juan Carlos Garcia aka T-Li from Strate Crooked was born in Guatemala. In 1979 he moved to Los Angeles, California, moving from Baldwin Park, El Monte, West Covina and La Puente. He grew up with Hip hop, watching B-Boy battles in Morgan Park, watching BET, The Juke Box Net Work, Yo MTV Raps, the works. His favorite hip hop groups range from LL Cool J, NWA, Run DMC, Snoop Dog, Above the Law, Too Short, Jay Z, Scarface, Tupac, Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, EPMD, A Tribe Called Quest, Snoop, there`s too many to mention. He was able to see the development and the transformation of the hip hop movement. To when we participated in the 4 elements from the heart, before it was even considered hip hop culture. In 1997 T-Li starting writing lyrics inside Soledad State Penitentiary, during a lock down. In 1999 we bought our first equipment at Astros and starting making beats on samplers with Guerilla Bandits from Montclair. In 2002 officially established UO Productions record label in Guatemala, Central America. In 2005 releasing his first album Freedom Cost Blood Vol 5, selling 6000 copies in Guatemala. Since then T-Li aka TYNE has been the Executive Producer of albums from Ghanjah Man`s EL Golpe, Primmo`s Project Jive, Big James`s La Mata del Pajon, Saraguate`s Santa Maria, and many more. In 2008 T-Li became the Director of Iximche Studios world famous studios used to be called DIDECA, where artist such as Ricardo Arjona started their careers. Same year he was also the COO of Spinhouse Agency. In 2009 T-Li moved to Bogota, Colombia to build alliances and working with renowned Latin hip hop artist like La Etnnia and Kavelo. He also worked with Malalma( Electro Cumbe) and La Revuelta( World Music- marimba de chonta). Now T-Li is the Director of the biggest CD Duplication company in Guatemala CD Latin. In 2011 T_li becomes the President del comite de vigilancia de Aginpro, associated with EMI, Universal, Sony, and Warner, Barceloneta Records, UO Productions and Primera Generacion records. In 2011 T-Li starts his first radio show Sector UNO on Da-Radio an online radio. Currently Working on the Guats Up Sector UNO mixtape, with over 30 MC`s from Guatemala, located all over the worldStrate originality define the lyrics, Crooked beats with live instruments compose this Revolutionary Hip Hop proposal. Born in Santiago de Chile, R-Sun immigrated to the United States with his parents at the age of 3. Overstaying their tourist visas, R-Sun and his family remained undocumented until they won a visa lottery in 1994. He grew up in Downtown Los Angeles’ McArthur Park neighborhood and developed a passion for hip-hop at a young age, citing “Doggystyle,” “Illmatic,” “Reasonable Doubt,” and “Moment of Truth” as the projects that influenced him most. R-Sun’s rhyme schemes are intricate and dense, his lyrics are imaginative, hard-hitting, and passionate, and his concepts refreshing, innovative, and real.

Central was formed by a collaboration of musicians wanting to make great sounding music. Since early 2004 Hector (Guitar, vocals), his brother David (Bass, Saxophone, back up vocals), Sergio (Drums), and Will (percussion & noise) have been on a steady rise not to fame and fortune, but rising as creative musicians. With many set backs within each of their lives, they still found the time to get together and make music. In 2009 with a new edition to this band, Carlos Somoza brought a dynamic contribution with his inspiring and motivating vocals. In late 2010 Sergio left the band in pursuit of aspiring ventures and Will stepped in to as the rhythmic background. That year also brought the sounds of Tony, another musician who was able to provide fills in the gaps with his saxophone. This band comes out from Pasadena, CA

RUIN1 is an Artist in the truest sense. Currently working as a DJ, MC, Photographer, and Filmmaker out of his Pasadena based SinQueso studios, his intense passion and dedication to his art is unwavering. A Los Angeles native and self proclaimed “Culture Head” Ruin is a truly loves his family, friends, and the world as a whole with everything it has to offer.
A true proponent of HipHop, Ruin1 foun...d his step as a freestyle MC at the age of 13. In High School he created the DMS crew, now worldwide with members throughout the US and as far as China, with his brothers MC Raph and MC Deecypher. In high school he saved up to buy turntables so the DMS could play live shows and became obsessed with the art of the Dj/Turntabalist. A talented mixer and scratcher, Dj Ruin’s love of all types of music is evident in his unique style and eclectic sets.

DJ RUIN started playing bars and clubs in L.A. in 2001. In 2002 he toured the U.S. with the Kleen Crew and landed a 2-year residency @ Klub Kryptonite in Myrtle Beach, S.C. During this time he received his first major sponsorship as the Official DJ for Merlins Energy Drink. In 2005 his brother Mc Raph, now a prominent figure in the Beijing Underground, invited him to Tour China playing alongside DMC World Champion Dj Wordy. After returning to L.A. he joined The Formula Project,
a Hip Hop Group, which licensed two of their songs to ESPN for their Racing Programs. This led to a year of touring and televised performances on ESPN from 2006-2007.

In 2007 Ruin returned to L.A. playing variuos clubs and became the resident DJ at Neomeze Lounge/Club in Pasadena from 2008-2010.
Ruin has played many clubs/venues/events including- Cinespace, Josephs, Ivar, Deep, Highland, Avalon, and many more as well as composing original material for websites, commercials, and video games. He has toured the United States 4 times to date and played in Mexico and China as well. 2011 will find Ruin1 back on the road with tours being set up in Russia and China.
Dj Ruin currently plays with Latin Percussionist Kenny Hudson (Stevie Wonder Band/War) as a Duo providing a unique mix of HipHop, House,Funk, and Jazz with live latin drumming and Ruin’s signature mixing and scratching, taking crowds on a musical journey while keeping the dance floor on fire .
2011 is shaping up to be a busy year. Ruins scratches can be heard on the recently released 42 Kings album featuring MC’s Deecypher, Xplycit, and Profit.He is also collaborating with the amazing L.A. based artist June 1 on an cartoon as well as animating, editing, and scoring his own projects. Born in Michoacan, Mexico and raised in mid city Los Angeles, Mad Bluntz (born Jose Reyes) arrived to Los Angeles at just 10 months old. Son of Mexican parents, Mad Bluntz grew up in a household filled with the sounds of Latin music. His neighborhood and surroundings exposed him to the music that captured his ear and heart-- hip-hop.

His parents saw his gift in music and encouraged it by enroll...ing him in piano instruction. Mad Bluntz always took to singing during early childhood, participating in choir in elementary school and middle school. Throughout high school the digital age facilitated the way one could have access to music and Mad Bluntz took advantage. He began to experiment with music production programs like FL Studio and Acid which re-kindled his love for wanting to make music. It was during this time where became truly immersed in the realm of hip hop as well as jazz.

At age 19 during college he met The Prophet (Carlos Somoza). Always joking around while hanging out, Mad Bluntz began to freestyle rhymes which eventually led to writing sessions. Mad Bluntz continued to freestyle rhymes. A year letter he met the Wize-1 (Rodolfo Juarez) who encouraged him to further develop his skills. He began collaborating with Wize-1 to start recording his first projects. Prophet:

PROPHET hailing from Pasadena, California fell in love with Hip-Hop at a very young age. Growing up in the 90's on both the West and East coast including Puerto Rico his musical influences were enormous and his thirst not only for the music but the lifestyle and the lessons grew. Prophet started rapping at a young age. Freestyling was his passion and as he grew older and moved around his lyrical style and influence evolved and he slowly began to write complete songs. Everything was an influence for young PROPHET, from moving around the country to all the different artist from East to West Coast HIP-HOP and RAP he was absorbing in his travels. Many artist PROPHET admired and studied are amongst HIP HOP's elite: Pete Rock, Wu-Tang, Outkast, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Hi-Tek, Biggie, Big Pun, Dr. Dre, The Roots, Snoop Dogg, Dogg Pound and Hieroglyphics to name a few. He was also heavily influenced by Roy Ayers, Erykah Badu and Stevie Wonder.

PROPHET'S love for live music began to grow a few years ago and he began collaborating with musicians for a live music experience with him as the emcee and vocalist. He then became part of a group called “CENTRAL” consisting of a drummer, bassist, guitarist, saxophonist and him as the lead emcee. CENTRAL is a band of incredibly eclectic sounds. They play a variety of genres of music therefore showcasing PROPHETS ability to rock to any beat. Hip Hop, Samba, Jazz, Reggae and Rock are some of the sounds created by CENTRAL and there live shows are heavy. They have performed shows throughout California and continue to perform.

PROPHET even though still an integral part of CENTRAL decided to venture off on his own and began working with other artists and producers as well as working on a mixtape. He's involved in various musical ventures and can be heard on many projects being released soon with the likes of Mad Bluntz, Team Classick, Enzo, Frank John James, Consortium, Solares, Cali Boy, Jmixzin, Surrealist, 42 Kings, Explicit and the producer Deecypher. Today, wednesday June 15th we will be having our friend Jun6 live in the lab. Dropping some new music, talking about the hip hop game, and a few surprises.

JunSix started emceeing after hearing “Raising Hell” by Run DMC at the age of 10 and has been doing it ever since. After performing in and winning a rap contest at 11, he decided that he wanted to make a career out of music. Since then, his music has allowed fans to get to know him as a battle emcee, a poet and a vocalist.

JunSix’s style has gotten him compared to the likes of Q-tip, Talib Kweli, Common and Ghostface. However, JunSix considers his influences to range from Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Rakim, Biggie, Tupac and Das EFX to Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye for various reasons. An “against the grain” artist, JunSix focuses on words which defines his style. He chooses to entertain as well as educate which results in lyrical content that leads into a catchy hook. Musically, one can look for influences from soul and jazz to even rock.

A JunSix album takes you on a ride that goes from pure emceeing to feeling good to just bluntly giving you food for thought. Ultimately, his music is honest and reflects where he is when he writes what he writes.

His previous offering and debut on Rebel’s Peak Inc., “But Nobodys Listening” opened up with the thought-provoking and encouraging “Superhero” spoken word and hits moments such as the party song “Nuts”, the battle-emceeing “Quickblade”, the peace through Jesus anthem “G.O.D. State of Mind” and the state of hip-hop piece “Shoodah”.

Lloyd Tucler, artisticly known as “Duendy”, was born on July 10th 1984, in Guatemala City, from a native Guatemalan mother and a British-born father who grew up in Nicaragua. At the time, the country was ravaged by civil war and poverty, in search of a better life, his mother brought him and his two siblings to Canada. Duendy arrives in Montreal in June 1987. He discovers a passion for hip hop, american and latino, as soon as grammar school. He first gets involved in the movement as, of course, a music fan and also a dancer. In high school, inspired by his brother, TuenyWun, he starts writing rhymes, that eventually grew into complete verses and songs. To avoid direct competition with his brother, he decided to rap in spanish. In his poetry, he lets go all of his accumulated rage towards his girlfriend and family, having extremely explosive and tensed relationships with them. Slowly entire songs begin to pile up. He works on his flow, sharpen his technique as a freestyler including a touch of reggae, inspired by his father.

He slowly acquires his start doing small gigs at parties ,barbecues and many freestyles cyphers around the Rosemont borough, where he grew up. He meets many rappers throughout all of this and joins a group, with which he performed many shows (over a100) in Montreal and its suburbs. They opened for known Montreal groups such as Sans Pression, BMC, L’Assemblé, Moines des Rues and Cyrano de Montréal. After two years, a mixtape and an album, Duendy parts ways with the group to establish Purple Lips Studio along with his two brothers.

Since then they have released two mixtapes , “Los Cuentos de Duendy” and “Chronicles of a black latino: bridge to nowhere.” In the winter of 2010 Duendy left Montreal for a small Latin America tour called “Latino parlante” where he did dozen of shows in Mexico. he followed by a visit to Guatemala to the fourth hiphop festival, where he promoted his upcoming mixtape titled “ Verdadero en todo lo que hago” which will be available May 10th.

Having gained a lot experience Duendy went to audio engineering school to perfect his art, he now produces for himself and other artists. He’s a true hip hop fan, one that lived the golden era rap and still follows its growth.

Su amor al arte es su fuerza y en un mundo como el
nuestro , el mas fuerte es el que impone su ley. La paciencia
es una virtud que adquirio con forme los aÒos han pasado y
ha aprendido el significado de la vida. De nacionalidad
Guatemaltequa ,el 2do de una familia de 3, a una edad muy joven
sus padres deciden mudarse a Canada y el dolor al despedirse
del resto de su familia lo afecta mucho.
Crece en los vecindarios de Montreal donde va aprendiendo el
frances en la escuela , el ingles en la calle y el espaÒol en su
hogar. Comienza su recorrido a travÈs el Hip-Hop como (DJ) , a
los pocos aÒos se hace la transformacion y cambia la tornamesa
por el microfono . Su talento se va desenvolviendo y el va
aprendiendo la movida de este arte con los "cyphers" y los
"battles" del vecindario , su nombre se comienza a propagar por
todos lados de boca en boca. En el 98 decide invertir unos
ahorros y graba su primer demo de 4 temas. Eso lo ayuda a
avanzar y 2 aÒos mas tarde participa en un proyecto intitulado
"Dj Gee presents LEYENDA URBANA vol 1" que tiene reacciones
positivas de parte del publico , distribuido en partes de usa ,
del caribe al igual que en Costa Rica , su nombre sigue su
recorrido y va agrandandose.En el 2002 "LEYENDA URBANA vol.2"
se graba pero por razones particulares no lo sacan al mercado.
Ahi es cuando junto a Bobby Dreadd participan al concurso
HipHop4ever y quedan de 2ndo.
El premio es de participar en un festival en Mexico pero por
cuestiones legales que impiden a Bobby Dreadd de viajar, Cordova
va con Markito y los 2 van al Distrito Federal por 7 dias a
promover y representar lo que es Brownz Family.

Al regreso de ese viaje inolvidable , Markito recibe la
noticia , su amigo y socio en la musica Dj Gee fallecio el 3 de
nov/03. Despues de haber pasado 6 meses sin escrivir nuevos
temas , junto a Bobby Dreadd sacan una cancion dedicada a Dj Gee
que toca corazones de mucha gente. Regresa a la rutina de la
musica haciendo presentaciones en varios lugares , grabando
canciones con varios artistas y haciendo que cresca su nombre.
En el 2005 se conecta con Young Joe de Mastered trax Ent. y
comienzan a trabajar sobre diferentes proyectos para tratar de
promoverse y agrandar ambos nombres. En el 2006 sacan el mixtape
"That's How We Do" y la reaccion de la gente es mas que
positiva y deciden continuar haciendo musica juntos , pero
Markito de nuevo tiene que pasar por una prueba dificil al
perder a la mujer que lo cargo por 9 meses , su Madre muere el
martes 8 de agosto del 2006. Recuperarse de un golpe como ese
es algo casi imposible pero la gente que aprecia el estilo es
la gente que lo apoyÛ y lo que le han brindado es lo que le ha
dado fuerza y voluntad de seguir adelante . En el 2007 sacan
la compilacion "Definicion del Fuego" con la participacion
de artistas como "Stylo , Neggro Azteca , Sonny Blue , Citric ,
Javie Picazo , Dadadi , Abusivo , Beelo , Kyntero , Brownz
Family , Xavier Chavez , Kalimen , Radikales" el proyecto es
aceptado por el publico . En el 2008 despues de tanto haber trabajado
sobre su album finalmente lo saca y es vendido en mexico , u.s.a y en
japon de nuevo su talento se destaca de los demas. Su contrato termina
pero el sigue su camino y se conecta con gente de costa rica y de su
tierra natal , comienza a trabajar con Spictacular sobre un proyecto
nuevo que se intitula el angel y el demonio que deciden sacar el
15 de septiembre del 2010 y ahora en el 2011 Markito sigue aqui con
nosotros siempre traendonos lo bueno , lo diferente algo fuera de lo comun .

Poesia Callejera Bio
Poesía callejera es un grupo de rap guatemalteco que nace en noviembre del 2008 luego de que uno de sus miembros (TV) compite en la batalla de los gallos de Red Bull y queda en segundo lugar. Este acontecimiento despierta en Kevin (Reallity), Lervin (biller), David (El profe), Gustavo (TV) y Luis Fernando (Psycho), el interés de integrarse como crew y producir lo que hacia falta en la escena del rap guatemalteco, ORIGINALIDAD. Dj Skip Bio
Dj Skip (Gonzalo Molina) native of Los Angeles, California and raised in the Baldwin park area (626) experimented with different genres of music as he began his music career. However, Hip Hop hit the heart the most as he grew older. His humbled beginnings tell the story of a young kid watching his older brother mixing with Two Gemini XL 500 turntables and a Numark mixer. His love for dj'n began in his high school years, and his Dj name was inspired by watching And1 basketball mix-tapes where celebrity player Skip To My Lou was the star of the show. But it wasn't till 2008 that Skip got serious about Djing, that's when it became more than a hobby for him. Inspired by many Dj's such as Dj Premier, Dj Atrak, Dj Qbert, Dj AM, Dj Tech, Dj Dennis and many more, he told him self that one day he would join the ranks of those he looked up to. Still to this day Skip gets inspired and keeps practicing and doesn't stop learning from others. Spinning at house party's and back yard kickback's, his rep continues to grow thanks to his Family, Friends and Fans. Today he is part of the Solares Music team and is resident for a popular Hip Hop Web-cast called El Sonido De Esta Zona hosted on Wednesday nights 8PM PST @ www.SolaresMusic.com. Fla-K.O. También conocido como Selectha K.O. Inició su aventura en la música hace 15 años tocando varios instrumentos con distintos grupos y cantautores de todo tipo de generos músicales. Como músico, percusionista profesional e interprete ha experimentado con música folklórica de latinoamerica, el latín jazz, la cumbia, el hip hop, el reggae y la música afrocubana; como DJ ha trabajado con artistas de Hip Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, Drum and Bass y música latina. Vivió 4 años en la ciudad de Koeln, Alemania trabajando como DJ en diferentes clubes, siendo además DJ de tour de los cantantes de Reggae y Dancehall: CarameloCriminal (Raggabund), participando en algunos festivales, como el Fusion Festival, el 8vo. Lateinamerika Festival de Hamburgo, y el 1er. Alterlatino Festival de Colonia. Tanto en Alemania como en Guatemala, siempre ha estado involucrado en actividades relacionadas con música y arte urbano, trabajando con artistas, grupos, crews y soundsystems de toda índole y color. Se ha presentado en distintos escenarios de países como: Suiza (Zurich), España (Barcelona, VIC), El Salvador (San Salvador, Soyapango, Santa Ana), Nicaragua (Managua), Honduras (Tegucigalpa) y Costa Rica (San José, Perez Eledon, Manzanillo) Como DJ y promotor musical desde el 2005 se dedica a difundir por todo el país de Guatemala la música Reggae, Dancehall & Hip Hop, creando para tal efecto la Bacteria Soundsystem Crew, actualmente integrada por 1 DJ y 5 de los mejores MC`s de Guatemala (Lovel 2, Divary, EkisEkis, Plenno & Mr. Fer) con quienes se han presentado en toda la republica de Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras y Costa Rica; por otro lado, desde el 2006, es miembro y coordinador general de eventos del colectivo Revolución Hip Hop Guatemala (integrado por distintos artistas, colectivos y crews que trabajan por la difusión de esta cultura en Guatemala), con quienes mes a mes por un lapso de 14 meses, realizarón sesiones de Hip Hop denominadas “Universo de Estilos”, fungiendo esta actividad como plataforma de distintos artistas de esta cultura urbana en Guatemala; desempeñandose en la gestion, producción y organización de los distintos festivales nacionales de Hip Hop Guatemalteco, el Festival Centroamericano de Hip Hop “Unión” y el Festival Internacional de Hip Hop „Revolución“ de Guatemala, del cual es productor y gestor del mismo.
Es miembro de la prestigiosa productora y agencia guatemalteca de representaciones: C.U.B.E. como DJ residente de la misma. Además de realizar sesiones musicales de carácter experimental con diversos músicos, productores e internacionalmente reconocidos DJ´s del país como: Radio Zumbido (Palm Pictures); Francis Davila (Vandit Records, Istmo), Red Alert (subunda.com), Token (Rythm Selektas Crew) y Basico3 (la U.R.B.E. Collective/Hip Hop Nation Radio).
Ha recibido cursos avanzados como DJ en la Internacional Vestax DJ School en Koeln, Alemania. Por espacio de 12 años ha realizado y producido espectáculos de teatro-danza, música, exposiciones de arte urbano, videoclips para artistas diversos, exposiciones y producciones de graffiti, conciertos, festivales de reggae y hip hop, así como fiestas de todo tipo desarrollándose individualmente como productor, músico y promotor de eventos y artistas varios. Actualmente tiene varias residencias mensuales como DJ en la ciudad capital de Guatemala como: The Box Lounge (en la zona viva), Gran Hotel y Blanco & Negro (estos ultimos en el centro historico). Así como en el centro cultural „Los Chocoyos“, Quetzaltenango.

Yo pienso que es importante expresar los pensamientos y los sentimientos detras de la letra de las canciones. Lo mas marabilloso de la musica es el poder conectarse con una person tras el uso de las palabras que caminan sobre los instrumentos. Para muchos hacer musica es el poder contar una historia, declamar un amor o illustrar el dolor de una perdida. En el caso de la cancion "La Mato" yo me vi comprometido conmigo mismo pues necesitaba contar la historia de mi persona y la forma de pensar de el ser humano no el artista. En mi vida yo e sentido todas las emociones que un ser humano tiene el privilegio de sentir. Muchas de ellas se vuelven adictas dependiendo en cuanta sea la necesidad de nuetras inseguridades. Los altibajos moldean lo que soy, quizas en el futuro mi forma de pensar sea diferente o tenga nuevas influencias, mientras sean por el bien del ser humano, bienvenidas. A veces uno se quiere subir en una escalera que no tiene pared para balancearse sobre los demas, nos subimos sabiendo muy bien que el regreso a tierra sera seguro, o sea seguro de que seras bienvenido con golpe seguro. Pero la realidad es que el hacer feliz al corazon requiere nada mas que las cosas mas simples en esta vida. Una de ellas son las memorias. Paz Y Amor. Porke no hay sentimiento mas bonito que el estar en paz con Papa Dios.

Walter "Dj Tech" Alvarez was Born in Guatemala and raised in Los Angeles, California , DJ Tech has been contributing to the music scene since 1994.
